HGV CLASS 1 DRIVER

Quicktemp are a market leading UK transport recruitment company, who are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Drivers who are passionate about their work within the transport/industrial sector.

We are currently looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers (CE) to work for one of our reputable clients in Andover, delivering fresh produce.

Duties included in this Class 1 role:

• Being responsible for all produce and equipment, including crates, pallets, load restraints etc.
• Supervise the loading of the vehicle so that products are safely secured to minimise chances of damage
• Ensure that on arrival the delivery is safe to execute and respect customer’s property
• Check goods off with customers and obtain signature and print
• Handle customer issues on delivery effectively
• Communicate with the transport team to keep them updated where you are throughout the day

Essential requirements:

• 2 years experience in CE Category
• No more than 6 points
• Happy to work for 10 hours minimum per shift
• Flexible with working hours
• Valid CPC
• Valid Tachograph card
• All licences in date
