The Federal Aviation Administration have given couriers permission to use as many delivery drones as they need at hospital, corporate or university campuses. They will however have to meet a few restrictions because drones are prohibited from flying at night and they are also not allowed to fly beyond the remote pilot's line of sight. On top of this, they are not allowed to carry any kind of weight that is above 55 pounds.

The FAA's decision was announced on Thursday and this appears to be a big step forward towards drone shipments. The devices have promised to try and reduce courier costs and they are also going to play a huge role in the surge of e-commerce too.
