Quicktemp are a market-leading UK transport recruitment company, looking for enthusiastic and reliable HGV Class 2 Drivers for one of our reputable clients in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. This role involves trunk runs and tramping with a well-established company in the transport sector.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure safe and respectful delivery at customer sites
- Verify goods with customers upon delivery and obtain signatures
- Handle any customer issues efficiently and professionally
- Maintain communication with the transport team throughout your shift
- Supervise vehicle loading to ensure products are securely fastened and minimise damage risks
Essential requirements:
- Minimum two years' experience in the relevant driving category
- Valid CPC and Tachograph card
- All licences must be in date
- No more than six points on your licence
- Comfortable working a minimum of 10-hour shifts
- Flexible with working hours

- Ongoing professional support and out-of-hours assistance from 5:30 am – 10:30 pm, 365 days a year
- Referral Bonus Scheme (terms & conditions apply): £20 for Van/Warehouse Worker referrals, £50 for Class 2 Driver referrals, £75 for Class 1 Driver referrals, £100 for ADR/HIAB/Level D referrals
