ABP are Handing Harms Hall over to Maritime Transport

ABP are the leading port group in the UK, and they have chosen to award a lease to Maritime Transport. They have done this so that they can operate Hams Hall. This is one of the busiest freight terminals in the UK. It plays a critical role in the logistics for the nation and the expert team have also made it an important part for the portfolio over the last 25 years. Maritime Transport have been trying to pursue a much wider strategy so that they can transport more cargo via rail. Over the last couple of years, they have become very established, and they have also been able to grow their intermodal sector as well.

Alastair Welch, who is the regional director, has come out with a statement saying that they have since enjoyed a rather successful partnership with the company and they believe that this is going to benefit everyone, whether it is those who work in a driving agency, in driver recruitment or those seeking driver jobs. It is also possible that this will create more warehouse jobs for industrial workers as well.

John Williams, who is the executive chairman, has come out with a statement saying that they have viewed the Rail Freight Terminal as being a critical location for quite some time and that they have big plans when it comes to moving more cargo by rail. They are thrilled to have been working with ABP to try and guarantee a long-term solution for them to operate the rail terminal. Right now, it would seem that they are focused on offering the best and the most secure solutions to customers. They also have the aim of trying to make sure that the environmental impact is lessened where possible which is a major bonus.
