Quicktemp are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic HGV Class 1 Driver who is looking for a temporary to permanent position in Ford, West Sussex. The ideal driver will be experience in tramping, as this role requires general haulage trunk runs.
This is a temporary to permanent role with inductions starting in the 1st week of January.
Duties in this role include:
- Tramping runs into the Midlands.
- General Haulage runs
- Safe Driving HGV Trucks to transport goods to designated locations
- Following Safety procedures when loading and unloading cargo
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns before and after trips
- Maintain accurate driving logs and ensure compliance with road regulations
- Communicate with dispatchers and team members to coordinate deliveries
- Adhere to delivery schedules and follow routes as planned

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience in the UK as a Class 1 Driver
- Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) driving license.
- CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
- Digital tachograph card.
