HGV CLASS 1 DRIVER - CARGO OPERATIVE / LEVEL D

We are currently seeking experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 Drivers for an exciting role in Manchester, with a dynamic, customer-focused provider of specialist transport services to the airfreight industry.

Duties in this role:

• Transport airfreight securely to and from airports.
• Ensure compliance with Cargo Operative (Level D) security regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently.
• Follow all tachograph rules and regulations.

Essential requirements:

• Valid Cargo Operative (Level D) certificate.
• Minimum 5 years of employment history (for security clearance).
• Valid tachograph card and CPC card.
• Happy to work a minimum of 10 hours per shift.
• Flexible with shift patterns, including weekends.
• No more than 6 points on your license.
• Previous Level D / Cargo Operative experience.
• Strong communication skills (written & verbal).
• Punctual, professional, and reliable.

Preferred experience:

• Familiarity with airfreight transport regulations.
