Quicktemp are a market-leading UK transport recruitment company, connecting professional drivers with excellent opportunities.
We are currently seeking experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 Drivers for an exciting role in Manchester, with a dynamic, customer-focused provider of specialist transport services to the airfreight industry.
Duties in this role:
- Transport airfreight securely to and from airports.
- Ensure compliance with Cargo Operative (Level D) security regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently.
- Follow all tachograph rules and regulations.
Essential requirements:
- Valid Cargo Operative (Level D) certificate.
- Minimum 5 years of employment history (for security clearance).
- Valid tachograph card and CPC card.
- Happy to work a minimum of 10 hours per shift.
- Flexible with shift patterns, including weekends.
- No more than 6 points on your license.
- Previous Level D / Cargo Operative experience.
- Strong communication skills (written & verbal).
- Punctual, professional, and reliable.
Preferred experience:
- Familiarity with airfreight transport regulations.
