PD Ports Have Concluded a Huge Deal for the Ro-Ro Terminal Project

PD Ports have completed a project worth well over £3.36b million. They have done this refurbishment project on their Number 1 Ro-Ro linkspan over at Teesport. This is going to support the traffic coming from there and it is also going to strengthen the port's very own position. This is going to be the UK's northern gateway when it comes to international trade.

Three Ro-Ro Berths

It's going to operate over three Ro-Ro Berths and it's going to be at Teesport. PD Ports are welcoming over 9 sailings a week that runs from Zeebrugge as well as from Japan. At the end of the day, the renovation work and the sailings from the Number 1 Ro-Ro terminal are going to improve sustainability and it is also going to mean that even more vessels can now berth there. The investment is going to demonstrate yet another step forward when you look at the long-term operation of the port and it also just goes to show that even more needs to be done to try and support this in the future. This investment has demonstrated time and time again that the port's operation is crucial and that it is a step forward for the long-term strategy. It's also going to position the company as being at the forefront for any opportunities that might be present.

The investment is going to build on the £1 billion direct and even the third-party investments as well. Only time will tell how this is going to affect transport recruitment or even if it is going to have an impact on HGV jobs or driver jobs in general but so far it would appear that things are actively moving in the right direction. There are certainly positive things to come.
