If you work in the industry sector of driver recruitment or if you are signed up and looking for work through a driving agency then you should know that Yodel are now agreeing to plant over 1,200 trees for veterans. If you are seeking driver jobs, warehouse jobs or if you work with industrial workers then you will know what a huge movement this is. Yodel have planted 1,200 trees and they have done this to try and help veterans with green therapy. They are doing what they can to try and combine any environmental schemes with various lines of support. The mass event is being held at Hull which is their charity HQ. They also have a lot of Yodel team members from across the country all coming together to try and plant the trees on a single day. The idea is that this is going to be a strong source of therapy for quite some time. It is also said that the trees are going to offset around 0.7 tonnes of CO2 throughout its lifetime as well so it is important to keep this in mind.
It is important to know that this is the latest move from Yodel and it is their attempt at trying to show a level of commitment to veterans so that they can then find new employment. It is also aiming to try and help those veterans who have served the country to try and gain the support that they could possibly need. At the end of the day, it is a known fact that sustainability is a key driving factor for Yodel and that the business has now been able to complete its transition to renewable energy. They are doing this across all of the operational sites. This helps to compliment the focus that there is on things such as fuel efficiency as well as helping them to report on the general operational performance of the environment.
